Dome Roof: The Project

A beautiful domed building in rural Oregon needed a full layer of spray foam insulation.

Our client in this case had a geometric domes house that needed insulating and sealed. Our spray foam insulation was perfect for the job as it is easily applied to any shape of building, where traditional insulation methods would struggle with this style of architecture.

How It Was Done

1.25 inches of our spray foam insulation was applied to the roof. This seals any gaps in the structure, ensuring a better air quality within the house, and easier temperature control.

The roof was then sprayed with a polyurea coating. The application of this coating is beneficial as it incorporates seamless integration of windows, skylights, and vents. Zero seams means a leak free finish.

This roof has a warranty of 25 years; a great return on investment, and a sign of our quality.

Dome houses or dome roofs can be particularly prone to leaking, which besides being annoying, can run up costs. Additionally, geometric domes can be a hassle to fit standard insulation in. Spray foam insulation can help to solve both of these issues.
